Right-click on the DOTV canvas and a menu pops up, but where you click decides which menu you get: click empty canvas and you get the one this section covers — canvas-level actions like Upload, Add node, Undo / Redo and Paste; click a node and you get a different one (see 2.4). This section covers what is in the empty-canvas menu, and two other places a menu pops up.

| Save to my assets | Saves everything already produced on this canvas into "My Assets": a Save assets dialog opens with one row per item — pick the folder, rename it, add tags, then save (the bytes are long uploaded; this step only records metadata). Generated media is recorded automatically anyway, so this one is mainly for uploaded / pasted material. |
| Add node | The same submenu you get from double-clicking empty canvas or from the + in the bottom toolbar (see 2.1). |
| Undo · Redo | The same thing as ⌘Z / ⌘⇧Z. Greyed out when there is nothing to undo or redo. |
| Paste | ⌘V. An image copied from somewhere else comes in this way too — straight into an image node. |
The menu opens at the spot you right-clicked, and nodes built from it land there too — so right-click wherever you want the new node to appear.
