Membership & top-ups

Out of credits in DOTV? There are two routes, both finished inside the product: buy credits once (the credit store), or subscribe (a batch granted every period, plus storage, concurrency and seats). This section covers how to read the numbers on a product card, what a plan actually covers, what happens between ordering and paying, and what can be refunded. How the wallet itself is booked, and where the history lives, are in 14.3.

The credit store

Open it from the Credit store button next to your balance (Account → Credits). It's a screen of product cards, with three sections and a currency switch (CNY / USD) across the top:

  • Featured — the deals we hand-pick. Cards with a limited run show how many units are left, and stop selling once they're gone.
  • Credit packs — credits not tied to any model. The last slot in this section is Custom top-up: name your own amount, converted at the flat rate with nothing free on top (¥1 = 25 credits, or $1 = 200 credits in USD), from ¥1 / $1 up to ¥100,000 / $15,000 in one go.
  • Model packs — cheaper, but those credits only ever pay for the one model printed on the card.

Read a card like this:

On the card What it means
The big number What you end up with — any first-purchase bonus is already in it
The line under it The same amount split out: X paid + Y free
"Less than the custom rate" How much this card saves against the flat custom top-up rate
Validity How many days these credits last (no line means they don't expire)
Weekly limit How many times a week you can buy this one card
"For tier X and above" When your tier is too low that button turns into Upgrade plan and takes you to the membership page

What a plan covers

Membership lives on the Membership page in your account: the current tier and renewal date on top, and a button that reads Subscribe before you have one, Renew or upgrade once you do. It opens the pricing dialog — Creator and Team tabs, Monthly / Quarterly / Yearly cycles, and six currencies (CNY / HKD / TWD / USD / JPY / INR, defaulting to the one for your region; whatever you pick wins).

A plan covers four allowances:

  • Subscription credits per period — granted automatically each period, and whatever you don't spend lapses (that bucket's rules are in the previous section);
  • Cloud storage — how much each tier gives is on the Storage tile of the membership page (see 14.5);
  • Concurrent tasks — how many generations can run at the same time;
  • Team seats — Team plans only: 2 to 200 seats, priced per seat.

On a Team plan the credits and concurrency multiply by seats; storage does not — a team buys one shared place, not one per person.

From order to payment

After you hit Buy or Subscribe, three things happen:

  1. An unpaid order is recorded;
  2. the payment page opens in a new tab;
  3. a successful payment credits you and starts the plan automatically, and coming back to this page refreshes it.

An unpaid order stays in the table with two buttons on it: Pay now (reopens the payment link it was given) and Cancel order (once cancelled it can no longer be paid). Paid rows have an Invoice action (CNY orders only).

When you're short

  • Not enough credits: submitting a generation is refused on the spot, and the message names what this run needs and what you have — it won't fail halfway through.
  • Concurrency full: hitting your tier's limit on tasks running at once is refused on the spot too, with a message naming how many can run together. Wait for one to finish, or move up a tier.

Refunds

Refunds follow the Refund Policy: both a plan and a credit pack can be refunded in full within 7 days of payment, as long as none of the credits it granted have been used; a custom top-up is not refundable once the credits land.

The team's own

Plans and credits are both bought for a space: the one you bought for yourself does nothing for a team. For a team, only its owner can place those orders or manage them — everyone else sees the numbers but not the buttons. Who the owner is, and how roles change, are in 14.6.
