Pricing FAQ

This page collects every DOTV "money" question in one place: where to see prices, how credits work, what the membership tiers differ in, how generation is billed, and whether you can get a refund. The details live in their own chapters — wallet history in 14.3, how to buy in 14.4, per-model pricing in 14.8.

Where to see prices

Prices are always whatever the product computes live — this doc does not copy numbers (a price change would turn it into a lie):

  • Membership: Account → Membership → pricing dialog, with Creator / Team tabs, monthly / quarterly / yearly cycles, and a six-currency switch (CNY / HKD / TWD / USD / JPY / INR).
  • Credit packs: Account → Credit history → Credit store. The biggest number on a card is what you actually get (first-purchase bonus included).
  • What one generation costs: every generation shows an estimate before it runs, worked out by the same rules as the real charge.

How credits work

Credits are the site-wide meter: images, videos, audio and text all spend them.

  • Flat conversion: ¥1 = 25 credits, $1 = 200 credits (custom top-ups use this rate with no bonus; the packs are cheaper than that).
  • Custom top-up bounds: minimum ¥1 / $1, maximum ¥100,000 / $15,000 per top-up.
  • Expiry: a pack expires only if its card says so; the subscription credits issued by a membership expire unused at the end of each cycle.
  • Model-specific packs are cheaper, but those credits only spend on the one model named on the card.

What tiers differ in

Membership comes in two families — Creator (personal) and Team (with seats) — each with several tiers. Tiers differ along four quotas:

  • Subscription credits per cycle — issued automatically when the cycle renews;
  • Cloud space — how much your assets and outputs can occupy;
  • Concurrent tasks — how many generations can run at once;
  • Team seats — Team only, 2 to 200 seats, priced per seat.

The exact numbers per tier are in the pricing dialog, computed live.

How generation is billed

Billing rules by capability (full model list and per-tier differences in 14.8):

Capability Billed by
Image generation per image × resolution; some models are one flat image
Video generation per second × quality (higher costs more, and not linearly)
Video upscale / subtitle removal / audio separation per second
Text (scripts, translation, prompt composition) estimated by content volume. The tiers that carry reasoning (prompt composition) show a range in the interface, because the exact amount depends on how many tokens the model really outputs and reasons through

Refunds

  • Unspent amounts: within 7 days of payment, if not a single credit of that purchase was spent, you can request a refund in Account → Credit history.
  • Credits already spent and orders past the window cannot be refunded; leftover quotas after membership expiry follow each tier's rules (subscription credits expire per cycle).
