A DOTV team is a shared space: projects, storage and the credit wallet each have a team copy of their own, and anything you do inside that space is visible to the whole team — it's where a studio or a production crew makes AI video together. Your own things are untouched: a personal space and a team space hold two separate sets of content, and you switch between them (see 14.2). This section covers creating a team, the team management screen, the three roles, bringing people in, and leaving and dissolving.
A free team has 2 seats (including you), so you can bring in exactly one more person.
There is one way in: click the avatar at the top right and rest the pointer on the identity card — the Account switcher panel opens to its left, and New team sits at the bottom of it. Give the team a name (20 characters at most), avatar optional. Once it is created you are the team's Owner. That same panel is where you change space: one row per space (your personal one, then each team), and clicking a row switches you over.
For more seats, buy that team a Team plan: on that team's Membership page, pick a tier and a cycle, then dial in the seat count (2 to 200, priced per seat). Once it's paid the seat count becomes exactly what you bought. Past 200 seats, use Contact sales in the pricing dialog. Only the team's owner can place that order — everyone else sees the numbers but not the button (see 14.4).
Press enter or space to select a node. You can then use the arrow keys to move the node around. Press delete to remove it and escape to cancel.
Press enter or space to select an edge. You can then press delete to remove it or escape to cancel.
Seven pages on the leftSeven pages: Team, Members, Permissions, Subscription, Credits, Storage, Join requests. When someone is waiting for review, the last one carries a badge.
1 / 3
Five pages on the left and the member table. Three stops: the five pages, one row per person, the open seat.
Five pages down the left: Team, Members, Membership, Credits and Storage. Membership, Credits and Storage are the same screens as in your account center, only showing the team's subscription, the team's ledger and the team's files (see 14.4 / 14.3 / 14.5) — and every member can see them.
The first page, Team, is about the team itself: its avatar and name (admins only, hit Save at the bottom right when you're done), your role in it, and the team ID (the button beside it copies — paste it to us when you report something). Dissolve team sits alone in a card at the very bottom, and only admins can see it.
The other four pages each do one thing, and the header above them carries nothing but the account menu — everything about the team lives on a page.
In the member table, every free seat takes a gray Open seat row at the bottom — so you can see at a glance how many more people you can bring in, instead of working it out from the "1/2" in the heading.
Change team settings, review join requests, remove members, plus everything an editor can do
Editor
Read and write content in this space: create canvases, generate, edit canvases someone else made
Viewer
Look only. Every write is refused, and the buttons are not there either — deleting from storage, for one
Anyone you approve comes in as an Editor. The "⋯" on a member's row holds three things (all of them admin-only, except on your own row): Edit note (a name for this person, visible only inside this team), Make owner (that is, turn them into an owner) and Remove from team (which frees their seat). There is no way in the interface to drop someone to Viewer.
You cannot change your own role, and you cannot change the creator's — both are grayed out in the menu.
Invitation emails go only to accounts with a bound email. An account without one is asked to bind on entry; in-app notifications do not depend on email and always arrive.
Press enter or space to select a node. You can then use the arrow keys to move the node around. Press delete to remove it and escape to cancel.
Press enter or space to select an edge. You can then press delete to remove it or escape to cancel.
SeatsHow many seats are left. An accepted invite takes one, so free one up before inviting again at full house.
1 / 3
Seats, inviting by account, and “awaiting their yes”.
On the Members page, hit Invite members above the table, enter the person's email or phone number, pick a tier (editor / viewer) and press Invite.
What goes out is a pending invite: it shows up in their in-app notifications, and they are in only once they press Accept (the seat is taken at that step; a full house refuses there). Sent it to the wrong person? Withdraw it. Inviting again after a decline just re-lights the same row.
Dissolving deletes the team's members and its join requests along with it, and cannot be undone. The projects and canvases in each member's own personal space are unaffected.
Leaving yourself: find your own row in the member table and hit Leave team under the "⋯". Once you leave you lose sight of this team, and coming back means an admin has to approve you again.
Dissolve team (admins only): the red button in the last card on the Team page, the first item down the left.
